We make it our mission to ensure that we produce pork of a higher quality by maintaining close relationships with our farmers and verifying that animal handling standards are being met. All of our farmers are Pork Quality Assurance Plus (PQA Plus®) certified to ensure the integrity of their farms.

Good Nature® pork starts with pigs raised in the Midwest by farmers who have a passion for quality and a commitment to raising pigs the right way.

From birth, our pigs are raised the way nature intended, socializing and interacting with other pigs. We never use antibiotics or artificial growth stimulants, and our pigs are fed only a vegetarian diet of corn and soy, completely free from animal by-products.

To meet these standards at our processing facilities, we base our policies on the American Meat Institute’s (AMI) animal welfare and handling guidelines. Each of our facilities is equipped with animal handling specialists who conduct facility audits to ensure animal welfare. These practices help reduce animal stress while delivering pork that’s consistently more tender and delicious.
