With pots and pans and allegories! (And, perhaps, a random assortment of metaphors and similes.)
mom, dad, bro, sis. let’s make this.
1 lb Good Nature® Sweet Italian Sausages, casings removed
4 tbsp bread crumbs
1 tbsp onion, finely minced
1/4 tsp kosher salt
Dash of hot pepper sauce
28 oz marinara sauce
12 oz spaghetti, cooked and drained
Mom, dad, bro, sis — everyone can make this.
First, mix up the pork, breadcrumbs, egg (not the shell), onion and seasonings. Then the kiddos can shape the mixture into meatballs about the size of golf balls — how fun!
Brown the meatballs in a large skillet over medium-high heat for up to 10 minutes (probably Mom’s or Dad’s part). Remove them from the pan. Now the kids pour all that yummy marinara sauce in the skillet and put those meatballs back in.
Cover. Simmer. Give it 10 to 12 minutes. Serve over spaghetti or another pasta. Dig in, fam!
